I love our husband to death, but the poor guy just doesn’t know when enough is enough. I can’t blame him for being that way though, in fact that is 1 of the reasons why I fell for him so several years ago, and his problem with never backing away from a challenge usually doesn’t come back to nip us in the backside, but those times when it does, it comes back strong! One month ago I came beach cabin from work and told our husband that I wanted to ditch the heated gas gas furnace and get some radiant flooring installed in the house, and our heated gas gas furnace had been acting up for years, and it seemed that every Winter time that came around it was more and more fancy to run the dang thing. Instead of weighing the pros and cons when I told him this, our husband saw this as a challenge and told myself and others that he would get the heated gas gas furnace that we had to run twice as efficient and twice as strong. This would in turn save us tons of money and make the radiant flooring idea unnecessary. Even though I spent the next day trying to talk him out of doing this, I was totally unsuccessful. The next day when I came beach cabin from work, I walked into the living room to find our husband sitting in from of the gas furnace with a unquestionably defeated look on his face… Not only had he failed to improve the unit, but he had completely broken it. I was annoyed at first, but then I realized that this meant we would finally get the radiant flooring. I know it took having to destroy a piece of equipment worth thoUSAnds, but at least we will finally get the floors I want!
