Pet hair filled air vents

Renting a modern apartment always comes with some lessons to be l earned.

You need to become official with your modern surroundings, neighbors, where to shop, & even the best route to take when commuting to work.

I decided to move to my modern location about numerous months ago & I have settled in pretty well. I did, but, start to notice a unusual odor in the location when I turned on the heat as the cooler weather arrived. I programmed the control component a single afternoon & headed off to work. When I walked in that night, there was a odd odor. It didn’t odor love the normal odors that come with the heat first being turned on so I called the maintenance number that I had been given. I explained that the temperature in the apartment was good, but, there was a odd odor. They didn’t seem to think it was a large deal & said that they would have someone check it the following day. I was stuck dealing with the odor the entire night & I even tried putting dryer sheets over the air vents to mask the odor. The next day I got a call from the repairman for the complex & he said that he had discovered the problem. The previous leaseholder had numerous cats & the air vents were filled at the bottom with pet hair & dander. They used a shop vac to wash them thoroughly & replaced the filter. They even sprayed a disinfectant in the lines to help eliminate the odor. I am ecstatic it was a easy repair & when I get apartment my location will be wash & fresh odoring again.
