Making the show a reality

My wife and I are huge reality TV fans, and recently we started working on an idea for our own show.

With so many cable channels out there, it seems like every day a new reality show makes a debut, so why not try and capitalize on it? My wife and I are partners in owning a business, and we have a pretty wild crew of people working for us.

I think we are a colorful and diverse enough group of people to support our own weekly half hour show. In all the dozens of reality shows we have watched over the years, none of them have been about air conditioning repair technicians. Since we own a heating and cooling company, we think this would be a good idea to try out. You might think that repair of furnaces and air conditioning equipment is not a very exciting idea for a program, but I think it is pretty neat. It isn’t what the show is about anyway, it is more about the people, and our crew of HVAC technicians were born to be on TV. We talked to a friend of ours, who said we should record some footage around the HVAC shop to give people an idea of what it will be like. He also had the idea that we should contact other people in the HVAC industry to fund and support the show. Just like Storage Wars increased the popularity of storage locker auctions, our show could shine a spotlight on the HVAC industry and all we have to offer.
