Making money and saving money with my houses

There’s no possible chance that I could have ever imagined I would someday own a holiday home, let alone multiple.

My parents weren’t poor, but they surely lacked the currency for additional property beyond the modest several living room beach house that they shared with my sister and I.

I dreamed that I could make a job as an artist, I never thought that would translate into owning a business selling wholesale art supplies to vendors across the entire country. What began as a simple activity while attending business university soon turned into a multi million dollar enterprise only two or three weeks after receiving our diploma. Instead of spending our money like it was going out of style, I put every bit of profit I made back into our business for the first few years per advice from my mommy and daddy. This kept our business growing at a fast pace, so much so that I had sufficient funds to buy a beach house once our girlfriend plus I finally got married. In a few years of our marriage, we had enough currency saved for a holiday home. During the next more than four years we bought 2 more holiday homes, and loan out 2 of the several whenever we’re not using them. Air conditioning can get expense in a beach house you’re not living in, especially if you’re only running the air to keep the indoor moisture levels down. Working the cooling system can combat mold growth in an unused living space. Later on I discovered humidistats which tell our a/c to turn on plus off according to indoor humidity levels instead of the temperature. In theory, you could leave to air off at temperatures as high as 90 degrees the moment that the humidity level was lower than the value you set the dial on your humidistat. Installing humidistats in our holiday homes has saved us considerable currency on our energy expenses.
