Everybody at home loves to watch movies, especially the scary ones.
This is the reason why I decided to put together a little movie theatre in my basement. I have this really nice section dedicated to just watching movies. We have some of the most comfortable furniture and we have a really expensive projector that puts out a crystal clear high quality picture. The other thing I had to put a lot of thought into was the HVAC system. I knew that the best way to watch movies was with some powerful air conditioning. It seemed that with just a single thermostat in the household, we were not able to get enough cooling in the basement without freezing the whole household. I decided to speak with an HVAC professional about the heating and cooling situation for the basement. This is when I learned about HVAC zone control. With the HVAC zone control, we were able to divide the household up into many zones with individual thermostats. Now we have a seperate thermostat in the basement and we are really able to blast the A/C when we are down there watching movies. I even got a nice popcorn maker that looks kind of like the classic popcorn makers they have at movie theatres. Thanks to our beautiful upgraded HVAC system, we are really able to enjoy watching movies all the time. Sometimes we even watch movies in 3D which is pretty fun for the family. Admittedly, I don’t like to watch 3D myself because it makes me feel a little dizzy for some reason, but everybody else gets a real kick out of it.
