Renting Is OK Except for Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C Comfort

I have been a homeowner for nearly all of my adult life. I purchased my first house when I graduated from school. I had just enough money to scrape together a down payment. It felt pressing for myself and others to build some equity instead of just paying rent. That was enjoyable thinking during that particular economic weather conditions. Those times have changed though. The value of a lake beach house has abruptly changed dramatically. Fortunately, I have been able to survive the worst period. I was lucky to make a small profit when we sold the beach house we raised our family in, then the two of us had decided to retire plus with that meant some downsizing. So now, we are renting plus there is some enjoyable stuff about renting. I can call the rental office for most stuff that I would have had to service on my own. The turf gets mowed by someone other than me. My worries about the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C being bad are gone because there isn’t much Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C to this venue. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C is antiquated plus just completely worthless. Convincing the landlord to service or substitute it has fallen on deaf ears. I have put up solar drapes plus even pushed the temperature control to a setting in the low 69’s during the heat of the day. But, nothing works. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C cooling just can’t overcome the heat because it just fundamentally doesn’t work anymore. I have written a formal letter of complaint to the rental dealer. Basically, I have notified them that I will split my lease if the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C situation is not remedied plus soon. I don’t want to do that but, there are no other options.
