Could refrigerated boxes be the next big thing?

I’ve been pondering Amazon lately.

They are extremely instrumental and they have become number one in American consumerism, but I’ve never really thought about how powerful they are until the other day.

Not only are they shipping out a majority of our household items at this point, but this giant company has unquestionably set the bar high for customer service, product selection, in addition to delivery time. There was no such thing as two day shipping before they came about, in addition to they’re only making their shipping more efficient as time goes on! This has me considering what’s next for them. The first thing I can think of is refrigerated shipping containers. I mean, if you think about it, the only thing that’s unquestionably stopping Amazon from overcoming all consumer activities is the chilled goods market. Amazon pantry is already capable of supplying refrigerated grocery items, but they haven’t mastered pharmaceuticals or other temperature sensitive items so far. However, with the creation of the refrigerated shipping box, this mega company could really ship out almost any product they wanted! The only thing they need to develop is a more compact air conditioning unit to fill a small shipping box with cold enough air. Then further, advanced insulation would really help to keep the cool air trapped inside the package for an extended period of time, just in case the customer wasn’t able to retrieve their items immediately. With these numerous straight-forward innovations, a whole new market of purchasers in addition to products could become available to Amazon, in addition to every one of us would all benefit from their micro air conditioning technologies in the future!
