When I was in university, there was a guy in my classes that I easily liked. I was beyond ecstatic when he began to show an interest in me. There was an event that the people I was with and I had to go one evening. It was the Spring semester, so the weather had already warmed up to what felt savor Summer. That month in particular, the weather had been in the nineties! After the event, the guy asked myself and others if I wanted to go back to his apartment to watch a film. I agreed right away, but I was super nervous. What the guy failed to tell myself and others was that his apartment did not have any a/c! While this was not unrespected for university students, it was not ideal conditions for hanging out with a guy I wanted to impress! Not only was the apartment hot, but it was also humid! When I walked in, I right away felt the thickness and heat of the air. I have curly hair, so the humidity makes my hair get frizzy. I was tepid and self conscious at first, but then I realized he was just as uncomfortable with the heat. He laughed and apologized for having myself and others over to his apartment when he does not have a/c. I told him that next time the people I was with and I hung out, the people I was with and I would have to be sure to method for a setting with a/c. The two of us laughed about it and I stuck around for as long as I could before getting too tepid to withstand it any longer! When I got to my car, I blasted the cooling system on the highest possible setting. I didn’t even start driving for a solid multiple minutes because I just needed to cool down after that experience! Don’t worry though, the people I was with and I had a fourth date, just some site much much cooler.
