Recently my partner and I bought our very first house.
While we were extremely excited and thankful to finally have a place to call our own, we knew that we were going to have to put in a lot of work in order to get this place to how we wanted.
We purchased an extremely old and charming farmhouse just outside of the city that was sitting on twenty acres of land. One of the only downsides about this house other than the location was the outdated appliances. Due to the fact that this house was built in the early 1800’s it actually didn’t have any type of heating or cooling system installed. This was one of the first things that my partner and I wanted to change with this house, as the summers in our neck of the woods can be extremely hot and humid. We ended up calling the closest HVAC company near us and we were able to have them send out an HVAC tech the very same day. The two gentlemen that showed up at our house were extremely kind and professional while in our house. They were also very clear and transparent about the estimate for a heating and cooling installation which we really appreciated. We are now set to have our brand new heating and cooling unit installed within the next few days. While we are waiting for that HVAC installation to take place we can’t rest and feel satisfied however, there is still much work to be done!
