After moving back to the beach house from our overseas posting, it took time to adjust back. I had gotten used to a weird culture and people. Instead of living with the other expatriates in a space of the city, I had lived with the locals. I made friends and the two of us were all so tearful when I had to return to the beach house for a new posting. I stayed with our sister for a week while looking into purchasing a new beach house in the area… The beach house I got was about a mile from her beach house so I could be close by since she is our only family! Part of the renovations I wanted to do in the beach house was adding a new heating system. The heating as well as air conditioning specialist that I hired to inspect the heating and A/C component stated that the heating component had to be updated. The space was great but it got some frigid weather each Winter time so having an excellent heating plan was top priority. I had looked into weird furnaces but was still confused about which one to actually buy; again I consulted the heating as well as air conditioning specialist and she was a big help, she taught me about heat pumps, radiant floor heating and furnace systems. After much deliberation I chose to go with floor heating since it was eco-friendly and efficient in keeping the whole beach house comfortable. Installing the radiant flooring wasn’t an straight-forward task since the heating as well as air conditioning crew had to remove our flooring for the installation… For a moment I was anxious about the outcome but the heating as well as air conditioning specialist assured me the floor would be back on the site. After the task, I was so glad she had kept her word and the beach house felt amazing.
