All my life I’ve lived in big cities across the world. I loved the fast pace of life and how people are always rushing somewhere. Never once did I think I’d want to live anywhere else. During a work conference some years back, I met a friend from high school. He told me he lived in a lovely small village in the middle of nowhere and did remote work. I was shocked by this since he’d grown up in the city. My friend invited me to come spend a week in his home when I was free. I took some vacation time from work and went there hell bent on making fun of him. But, I was the one who was blown away by this amazing place surrounded by natural beauty. A year later, we were neighbors and I was trying to find someone to install a heating and cooling system in my new home. While this community was amazing, the only issue was the lack of a heating and cooling company in the area. The residents had to call an expert from the town so many miles away for HVAC installations, repair and service. About a year after I moved there, a young man who worked in the city returned and set out to see if the locals wanted an HVAC business in the area. Everyone was so excited he was bringing back his HVAC skills to the area. We all knew when he opened his HVAC business, costs of HVAC services wouldn’t be too high. The minute the young HVAC expert set up his business, he had the support of the whole community. I was first in line to get a contract for heating and cooling system repair and maintenance.
