I am trying different methods in an attempt to save on our annually Heating and A/C bills.
Of all of our bills, heating and cooling is the most luxurious, and part of this was because of how big our condo is, and how long it takes to cool the entire home. Another area is because of an inefficient cooling unit, and last is because of the way I take care of it. I think a big area of it is our own fault, for example, I think that you are not supposed to leave the air conditioner unit on for the entire day, but there are many times I do that anyways. I also think that you are supposed to change out the air filters frequently and also get frequent Heating and A/C maintenance, even though I haven’t done that either. But it’s not really our fault, area of it is because the air conditioner model I currently have is just inefficient. But not anymore, I am not trying different methods of saving, and seeing which 1 saves me the most money. I started by only using the air conditioning method a few hours a day, and that has worked well for me, and already has cut our bill down. However, while it has cut our bill down, since the air conditioning component is inefficient, our condo is not getting cooled officially appreciate it should. So, I am thinking about getting a much better and more efficient model of air conditioning, however I think that would be really luxurious. Unfortunately, I don’t have that much money to spend on a brand new luxury Heating and A/C device, so I am going to be limited in our options of getting a new Heating and A/C system, then nevertheless, I will go ahead and call a Heating and A/C company and see what they have available.
