Just a couple of months ago, our Grandmother moved into a modern retirement apartment and she told me that she entirely likes it so far. She had been feeling lonely since she was living in her loft all by herself. She said that she wanted to move into a retirement apartment so that she could spend time with all of the people her own age and play cards whenever she felt love it. I didn’t recognize that it was the best plan for her at first, though. I thought that she would get bored and wish that she was still living at her house, however but I was wrong. She is absolutely liking the place so far, though. She keeps telling me how good the food is and how she enjoys all of the people who work there. I’m entirely gleeful that she likes it there, but she told me that there is one thing that’s bugging her. She said that the rest of the people in the loft always want to keep the temperature control turned way up all the time. They recognize that the loft is always too cold and so apparently, everyone else who lives in the loft is always telling the staff to turn the heating up higher and higher. My Grandmother is the opposite, though. She told me that she can’t rest how overheated it is in the building most of the time, and she asked me if I could bring her a window unit cooling system for her room. I recognize I’m going to have to get her one, because I don’t want her to be uncomfortable!
