Portable heating for outdoor wedding

It is amazing how quickly venues book up.

I want somewhere gorgeous to get married and I keep getting boxed out.

The only place I have managed to find is an outdoor venue in December. I live down south so December isn’t that scary. It will be cold though, too cold to hang around in a wedding dress. The venue opens up to a big field, rose bushes and has a giant guest house. It really would be a pretty space. I talked to the owner and she recommended I bring some type of portable heating device. Her outdoor pavilion has outlets. She suggested space heaters but I wasn’t excited by the idea of something that ugly. I found online that there are gas powered heaters and electric heaters that are bigger and more attractive. I am sure you have seen them in restaurants or bars. They are a giant pole with a burning flame that produces off heat. It isn’t an ideal heating system, but better than nothing. I have debated on buying one and trying it on my outdoor patio. There is no use booking the venue and buying a ton of heaters if it won’t be warm enough. I don’t want my bridesmaids in long sleeves and I don’t want to wear my future husband’s jacket the whole evening. I really need a venue though. So if I can make this heating situation work, I will do it. I bet there is a way to make the portable heaters more attractive too.
