If you asked any of my friends or family members a few years ago the type of man I was, most likely they would all say “country boy.” I grew up in the country, however flash forward a few years and I am now living in one of the biggest cities in the country in an new home on the top floor; Life where I live now couldn’t be more strange than the country life, however I have loved every moment of it! One of the biggest pros to myself and others has been the money I have been able to save. My new home is pretty small, however due to this I am able to heat the entire locale with just a small heated gas furnace that I got for half off on black Thursday from the local HVAC heating and cooling business. Out in the country, my new home had a huge and bulky heated gas furnace that was legitimately upscale to run, along with radiant radiant heated floors which were legitimately upscale to install. With all of this extra currency that I save each month on heating and cooling bills, I am able to use it to buy cool furniture and paintings to decorate my apartment! The only thing that I don’t have here in the neighborhood that I would have in the country is fresh air and wide open spaces to hang out in, however with my car I can be out of the neighborhood in just 15 minutes! I sure wish that all of my old friends from back home could see how this “country boy” is now a certified neighborhood man thriving.
