Getting this apartment sold and upgrading the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C to do it

When I’m wrong, which is more often than I’d prefer, I can be just so wrong.

And I was for sure right there when I resisted sinking money into a apartment that both of us were going to be moving out of.

That was just counterintuitive to me and I honestly wasn’t having it. Why would I tear out a working Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment to update the residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C and then transport out? That’s where my brain was stuck. I understood the supposed logic of spending money to make money. But with this pale white tepid real estate market, wasn’t everything supposed to be going as is for a ton of money? That was the message I was getting from the media. Probably should have paid attention to my dad’s seasoned saying of don’t suppose everything you read. So when the realtor whipped out a long list of updates that included the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment, I was just not having it. I finally convinced my wifey to just get the apartment listed and see if both of us can get what both of us wanted for it. That was the mistake. We cleaned out, staged, painted and prettied but the apartment was not getting offers anywhere even near the asking price. And I thought the asking price was low comparatively. After weeks of nothing, I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company and got the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment update proposed. And both of us did the study room stuff as well among other things from that original list. Sure enough, the apartment sold within weeks of relisting it. But it also sold for a whole heck of a lot more.
