Air filters are some of the most boring things ever… I hate air filter shopping. I have realized that there are all peculiar types of filters! The sizes of each are vastly different. The material of each air filter is quite particular too, however even the hole size is substantial too, but hEPA filters are better for indoor air quality but need to be changed almost every various weeks… Washable filters can last a few months and save you money. They aren’t actually great at keeping the Heating, Ventilation & A/C wash but. I have an air filter that works for our system. The size is right, the material is cheap and our hair seems clean. The issue I have is remembering what it is. I never want to save an empty air filter box. I also never seem to have filters on hand, however like twice a year I go to the hardware store and stock up. I then store a whole bunch of air filters. I use them until they run out. I remove the dirty filter and then go to the store. I never take the outdated 1 with me, however so I do not remember sizing, brand or style. I always guess and end up wrong. I spend days going back to the hardware store returning filters and trying again. I recently found out that our Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation does sell air filters online. I am trying to get on a program where they send me 4 air filters a quarter. I want it done automatically and the money taken from our account. I do not want to be responsible for air filter shopping anymore.
