I’m the type of person who tries to do everything as efficiently as possible. I feel like I am always running out of time, even if there is nothing on my schedule. I don’t know why I am always so anxious and worked up about getting things done in a timely manner, but I know that it is one of the largest focuses of my day-to-day life. This is why I’m always trying to get more organized, more efficient, and more high-tech at my house. One of the things that seemed to be a massive time and energy saver was installing a smart thermostat unit rather than relying on an old school temperature control device. I began learning about smart thermostat several years ago when one of my best friends invested in a brand new heating, cooling, and ventilation system. When they had a new forced air furnace, air conditioner, and air media purifier they decided it was also time to upgrade their temperature control device, itself. For the next six months I couldn’t hear about anything except for the smart thermostat device from my best friend. Apparently it’s saved them so much time, money, and energy that they were ready to preach about smart thermostats from the mountain tops. When I finally decided to get my own heating, cooling, and air quality control system upgrade I knew that I wanted a smart thermostat myself. I figured, what could be more efficient than letting a smart device figure out my own temperature control needs without any input on my end. Since I have installed the smart thermostat my energy bills have decreased 25% and so has my anxiety.
