If you were to ask most people if they enjoyed their jobs everyday, most of the time you would hear a resounding no.
These days most full time jobs are less focused on specific passions and more based on whatever job needs people at the time.
Every weekend when I am out with friends I am always hearing from them about how long and miserable the week at work was for them and how excited they were that the weekend was finally here. This phenomenon is so strange to me however, because I love my job so much. I have been working as a certified HVAC tech in the same town that I was born and raised in, and I truly enjoy it. The reason I love working as an HVAC repair tech is simple. The job just fits my personality so well! I have always loved helping people, and as an HVAC repair tech I am able to do that almost every day. It is always a good feeling to see the sigh of relief a homeowner will have after I show up to their home and fix the malfunctioning air duct in the a/c unit and cool air begins to flow throughout the room. Along with helping people, I love constantly being on my feet and on the go. As an HVAC repair tech I am never sitting at a desk typing for hours on ends like my friends, but far from it. My parents always told me that if I found a job that I loved I wouldn’t have to work a day in my life. When I was a teenager I thought it was just a corny saying that parents loved, but it has turned out to be true.
